Beaminster, Dorset, UK. The Ollerod Restaurant with rooms is proud to announce the arrival of the latest interactive dining experience, Live & Let Dine, coming to The Ollerod, Beaminster, for one night only on Thursday 24 September 2020.

Set in the unmistakably beautiful Dorset countryside, The Ollerod is an award-winning restaurant with rooms, headed up by former Michelin-star chef Chris Staines (Mandarin Oriental Hotel) and his partner Silvana Bandini (The Pig Hotels). Providing a luxurious Dorset getaway and dining experience for guests, The Ollerod continues to transform the dining experience through the regular launch of new events, exquisite new dishes, a luxurious treatment room using Dorset-produced natural and organic products from Lovegrove Essentials and offers that invite guests to take advantage of authentic Dorset hospitality.

Live & Let Dine is a recently-launched interactive dining experience from London-based Kat Mary Productions, and features 4 actors portraying 15 characters, taking diners through an evening of intrigue and mayhem in true James Bond fashion. Armed with all the clichés of the movies that one would expect and enjoy, the 007 hero is on a hunt to find out which evil villain is threatening his demise. Diners will enjoy a specially-created 3-course meal and welcome drink, as well as the 2-hour interactive show.

“Following the roaring success of our sold-out Faulty Towers evenings, we realised that our diners and visitors were ready for another treat, which is why we have decided to bring the big screen to Beaminster. Since launching The Ollerod almost 2 years ago, we have enjoyed creating opportunities to form new memories for our guests and we are sure that this one will be no different. We do advise people book well in advance – because looking at the success of our previous events, this is going to sell out too,” says Silvana Bandini, co-owner of The Ollerod.

And the dress code? Guests are simply suggested to Dress to Impress.
