We are currently looking for 2 enthusiastic individuals to join our kitchen team at The Ollerod in Beaminster, and take advantage of the chance to work under the leadership of Chris Staines in an award-winning restaurant in the heart of Dorset.

Chef de Partie Position

You are eager to learn and are passionate about creating amazing food. This role requires someone to assist with all food production within the kitchen, as well as special event catering and functions. You have a basic understanding of food hygiene and demonstrate an enthusiasm for cooking, with a keen eye for detail.

You are able to demonstrate experience of working within a catering environment and are driven by ensuring food service runs smoothly and with high standards of presentation. You work well in a team, and under pressure.

Sous Chef Position

You are a natural leader and are passionate about serving exquisite food. You enjoy working and leading kitchen teams to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment with a keen eye for detail to consistently deliver food of a high standard. This role requires someone to assist the Executive Chef in producing food services within required deadlines.

You have demonstrable experience within the catering industry and are willing to participate in the development and design of seasonal menus. You may be required to assist in managing stock levels, food orders and budget controls.

You are a team player, but have a natural leadership ability and can work independently too. You have experience in managing junior chefs and are a great communicator both in and out of the kitchen.

You are customer-orientated and are able to maintain a detailed knowledge of the menu including dish descriptions and allergens. You have high standards of quality control and food hygiene.
