River Cottage sprang into popularity in 1999 when Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall brought his love and famous food ethos to Channel 4. Since then, their hard-hitting campaigns have been influencing and changing the eating habits of the UK in leaps and bounds, and has gone on to improve the welfare and sustainability of animals and fish.
